The above rates are inclusive of welcome drinks on arrival as well as meals; (1) Day 1 meal is on dinner time from 7pm to 9pm, (2) Day 2 meal is for breakfast. Additionally, purchasers will receive complimentary resort tour (Trailer & Boat Ride), jungle trekking, boating, ball Game at the hall, waterfall visit, water park and swimming pool.

Day Trip Packages

• Package A: Includes breakfast, lunch, snack, resort tour, waterpark access, jungle trekking, ball games, boating, and a nature walk (Entry Time: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.)
• Package B: Includes lunch, snack, and all of the above activities (Entry Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
• Package C: Includes snack, resort tour or waterpark access, and the remaining activities (Entry Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

All day trips must end by 4:30 p.m., with recreational activities available from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Guests booking Packages A and B can enjoy one free activity from the chargeable list.

• For any other areas located in Miri, such as permy, kuala baram, permy jaya, lutong, pujut, etc, 160 per van (1-4 pax + RM40 extra person)
• to Lambir Hills National Park: RM20 per van (1-4 pax, + RM5 for extra person). 1900hrs to 0700hrs will be supercharged RM20

Personal Experience at Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort

Hostel Experience

I had the pleasure of visiting Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort during a church event back in 2019. I initially stayed in the dormitory that accommodated about 20 to 30 of us. While the shared environment was a bit uncomfortable due to the presence of some bugs like beetles, bees, and wasps, it actually led to a nice bonding experiences as we banded together to handle the pests, and since it's at located near the jungle, it is expected. So be prepared to bring some bug repellent and a mosquito net if you choose this accommodation type. After one night in the dormitory, I moved into one of the hotel rooms, which was a significant upgrade as the room was one you would expect from Miri city.

Adventuring the Resort

One of my favorite memories from that trip was gathering with my friends after the church event to explore the resort at night. We spent time looking up at the beautiful stars, and since the resort is somewhat distant from the city, the lack of light pollution made the sky clearer.

The highlight of the trip was definitely the waterpark. With its various waterslides, I found myself spending hours there together with my church members.

Recommendation

I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort. It’s a fantastic choice for a company retreat or a trip with friends and family. While I wasn’t able to fully explore all the activities and attractions during my first visit due to time constraints, the experiences I had were incredibly enjoyable, and it is definitely a place I would return to given the opportunity.
